Dubai, UAE – February, 2025 – Dubai-based climate startup Ehfaaz has been awarded the GCC Circular Economy Award for its outstanding contribution to advancing circularity and sustainability in the region. The award, announced earlier this year, recognizes Ehfaaz’s innovative approach to waste transformation and its growing impact across the FMCG, hospitality, and industrial sectors.
Founded on the belief that “waste is a resource in the wrong place,” Ehfaaz is redefining how the region approaches sustainability – from converting food waste into compost and animal feed, to repurposing expired FMCG products into safe, industrial-grade cleaners and solutions.
“We didn’t set out to win awards. We set out to solve real problems. But moments like this remind us that the work matters — and people are paying attention,” said Aliyu Mohammed Ali, Co-Founder & CEO of Ehfaaz.
From a small warehouse in Dubai Science Park to a regional footprint serving global brands like Unilever, L’Oréal, and Nestlé, Ehfaaz continues to scale its mission: to give used resources a new life.
